Who doesn’t love a good puzzle? That is how Melissa Roberts describes her passion for solving tough tax challenges. She says “accounting is like a great puzzle with math.” Melissa is a tax manager with Hargis and Associates, she has worked in her current role for 21 years. She has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Western Kentucky University. She likes staying abreast of the ever changing tax laws and regulations. She enjoys meeting new clients and the long standing relationships she has with existing clients. In her spare time, Melissa is an avid outdoor woman. She appreciates life on the farm with her husband Keith and their 3 children. The family farm allows her to stay active outdoors checking cattle and working in tobacco. Melissa’s farm background contributes to her strong work ethic.
